Vision for Business is designed to inspire Twin Cities business and community leaders to collectively invest in and celebrate the academic success of promising young inner-city kids. Founded in February 2003 as a leadership development organization for emerging business professionals, VFB evolved with its supporters to become a non-profit organization with a mission to cultivate and charitably share the success of those involved.
The VFB College Scholarship Fund is the cornerstone of the organization. Individual Scholarship Funds are given to elementary and middle-school children that demonstrate exceptionally strong work ethic and classroom commitment. The VFB Scholarship Fund honors efforts that often go unrecognized and further serves to remind these kids of the bright future they have ahead. The interest-bearing College Scholarship Fund accumulates over time and matures upon Graduation from High School.
The organization will take a vested interest in its Scholarship recipients by following up and supporting them along the way. Given the diverse group of business professionals, the organization provides a tremendous community for encouragement and support.
