In order to introduce under-resourced youth to personal, educational, and financial opportunities beyond the status quo Mind The Future needs your help. One of the most important aspects of enabling a young student to become a successful professional is education. The U.S. Census Bureau has released data proving the substantial value of a college education in the United States. Workers 18 and over sporting bachelors degrees earn an average of $51,206 a year, while those with a high school diploma earn $27,915. Children are part of our communities and economy, we need to make sure they are educated and ready to be competitive in a global world. In addition, a college degree increases more than financial gains. It furthers a person’s understanding of the world around them, creating a more complete person. A college degree gives a person a feeling of accomplishment and confidence, which can free their mind from fear of failure and open up aspirations for further advancement. Mind The Future also hopes that through helping some achieve, we can instill the spirit of community service in those we have helped.
