Originally founded as Vision For Business in February 2003 by Tony Winkler, Tony DelDotto, and Matt Halberg as a leadership development organization for emerging business professionals, Mind the Future has evolved from a humble beginning with its supporters to become a non-profit organization with a mission to cultivate and charitably share the success of those involved. As the organization grew, the members wanted to begin giving back and sharing the success of those involved, so Vision For Business began awarding college scholarships to local undergraduate students. Ms. Johnson and Ms. Massee are both now graduates of the University of St. Catherines. Ms. Massee was awarded the scholarship two years in a row, due to her outstanding performance and GPA.
A few years later the organization once again evolved, this time with the goal of dramatically impacting an individual’s life. After much thought and debate the leadership developed the current scholarship program in which a $12,000 scholarship is awarded to a high potential sixth grade student who has shown leadership and promise already in their academic career. Frank, a Minneapolis student, was the first to win the new scholarship in 2007. Frank's story can be found under either here, or under the "Teams" tab on the menu bar above. With that new mission came a new organization, Mind the Future, with hopes to continue to move forward and help by enabling children to reach their full potential.
